This programme is the first of its kind – a Coaching Supervision programme written in line with the core coaching competencies and specifically for the coaching profession rather than an adaptation of therapy supervision.
It is approved by the International Coach Federation as Continuing Coach Education within the Core Coaching Competencies.
It is designed to evolve Coaching Supervision beyond the “borrowed clothes” as described by the CIPD Change Agenda.
This programme is exclusively for those working with Executive Coaches. Existing delegates include Internal Coaches from the BBC and LogicaCMG and Independent Coaches working within the corporate sector.
Supervision is discussed and presented as being a relationship above a process – a shared interaction above a role. We move from the paradigm of “being a supervisor” to “being in supervision with” - a shared experience where both are co-learners and the “supervisor” does not limit the coach any more than a coach limits the coachee.
This is a developmental programme - the CIPD states the need for Coaching Supervision to evolve beyond the "borrowed clothes" of therapy and to develop its own models and practises. This course does just that and will be part of Coaching Supervision's "tailored wardrobe" of approaches. Rather than come to the programme with all the answers we will be starting the programme with the "big questions" for Coaching Supervision.
The programme is lead by Lisa Wynn, a qualified Coaching Supervisor and Master Certified Coach and draws in the shared experiences of some of corporate coaching's leading experts.
